Create the passage for the self-lubricating rings and the front axle

Select the plane that will support your construction

Remember : the sketch of the first stage of construction has been positioned so that the front wheel housing has its axis in the plane (Y, Z) :

* Select this plane by left mouse click, either in the construction tree or in the 3D window if the general planes are visible.

(the Space key is used to hide or make visible any object in the tree).

Create the sketch

* Click (left) on Polyline tool

Note :
This Sketch WB tool View sction allows us to hide the part of the object that is in front of the sketch plane when drawing inside the material.

* Draw a rough sketch as below by successively clicking the necessary points and closing the last click on the first point.

(Rigth click / Escape to leave Polyline tool)

Constrain the sketch

1- Position the entities of the sketch.

a- Check that the entities have all been oriented correctly (horizontal, vertical, angle of inclination, ...);

b- Add what is missing;

c- Fill in the particular positions (PointOnPoint, PointOnLine, ...);

d- Position a strategic point in relation to the origin of the system.

2- Size your sketch

Rate methodically, for example :

a- Horizontal dimensions;

b- Vertical dimensions;

c- Radius or diameters ...

Note :
the sketch must be completely constraint (all entities green).

and close it.

Create the material

1 - Select the sketch in the tree if it is not.

2 - Select the feature you want to use.
With the sketch selected in the tree, click on to groove the sketch.

3 - Define the parameters of the feature :

(Note : the axis must be the construction line you drew).

and valid by OK.
