Create the basic form

Questions to ask yourself before you start :

In what plane ? how ?

In (x, z) plane ;
With Circle tool.

Click on the steps of
the construction cycle

Create a new PartDesign body if it's not done.

Select the plane that will support your construction

We will choose here the (x, z) plane that will correspond to the front view of the van.

Select this plane by left mouse click, either in the construction tree or in the 3D window if the general planes are visible.
(the Space key is used to hide or make visible any object in the tree).

Create the sketch

* Click (left) on Circletool

Place your points as in the picture :

Click the center first.
Click a second point to define the circle.

(Rigth click / Escape to leave Circle tool)

Constrain the sketch

1- Position the center of the circle :

a- With the Ctrl key pressed, click on the center of the circle and the origin (0, 0) of the sketch plane ,

b- Then click on Coincident tool.

2- Size your sketch

a- Select the circle by click (left) on it,

b- Click on Radius tool.

Note : the sketch must be completely constraint
(all entities green).

and close it.

Create the material

1 - Select the sketch in the tree if it is not.

2 - Select the feature you want to use.
With the sketch selected in the tree, click onto extrude the sketch.

3 - Define the parameters of the feature :
